Thanks for the quick responses.  We assumed it was page numbers. but have never seen it written with the + sign.  Odd that it is now showing that on any APA sources as being an acceptable was to cite the page numbers. Thanks again!

Subject: APA citation question

Hello,

I have a colleague using the GALE Psychology databases, and often when getting the APA citation from the source (pre-made in the databases as you know), there is a number with a plus sign next to it (see example below...I put it in bold).  Any idea what that is referencing??  We both did some quick research but can't find an answer and he was hoping for an answer ASAP.  Thanks 🙂

Steffens, M., Neumann, C., Kasparbauer, A. M., Becker, B., Weber, B., Mehta, M. A., & Hurlemann, R. (2018). Effects of ketamine on brain function during response inhibition. Psychopharmacology, 235(12), 3559+. https://link.gale.com/apps/doc/A563216740/PPPC?u=s1693&sid=bookmark-PPPC&xid=e074b94c
