I had a recent request for a good example of magical realism to share with Gr. 11 students. I can think of a few novels to share, but I am struggling with the format that was requested. The teacher is specifically interested in YA short stories that feature magical realism. I'm sure there might be a few adult audience stories that would fit as well - does anyone have a suggestion that might fit?
