Announcing the
Growing Equitable Library Services
LibGuide
Growing
Equitable Library Services (GELS) is a workshop series that strives to provide the trainings that help libraries become strength-based, trauma informed, antiracist, social and emotionally conscious community institutions. GELS was created to provide targeted and generalized training to all library staff members to better provide them with the skills and knowledge to serve and support
institutionally marginalized, underserved, and invisible populations. The new GELS LibGuide is a growing space to hold recordings, presentation slides, articles, and resources related to all sessions in the GELS series. The LibGuide
includes curated, necessary information for all library institutions that want to foster and be equitable spaces. This LibGuide is for library staff across all levels and departments within an institution. Cross training and information building is essential for authentic equity
initiatives. |
