Hi All,

I am a graduate student with Southern Connecticut State University in the School Library Media Initial Educator Certification track. (Phew!, a mouthful).

I am in my last year and need to complete 30 hours of fieldwork observation of a teacher  teaching, preferably a librarian/teacher either in a library and/or in a classroom. This fieldwork hours are in fulfillment of EDU 508 Introduction to Education with Professor Federico Fiondella.  I have completed most of my coursework and will be student teaching next semester (location unknown).

I live in Burlington and would prefer something within 30 minutes of here. I have already worked in Region 10 Schools as a paraeducator in the library for two years. Currently I am interning at The Farmington Libraries in fulfillment of my MLIS as well.

I promise I am a sympathetic and kind observer! If you think this is something you might be able to accommodate in order to help a new librarian, I would very much appreciate your consideration.

I can be reached here or at 860 485 3844 by phone or text.  OR put me in touch with your principal and I will take it from there.

Best,

Laura Hutchins
