I don't have tables, but after the pandemic I was left with a collection of heavy triangular desks from my library's time as a classroom. I looked the desks up online, and sure enough there were aftermarket wheels I could buy. It took me a morning to overturn every desk, unscrew the feet, and screw on the wheels but I cannot tell you how happy I am.

I might suggest flipping over what you have to see if the feet of your furniture might be removable. That's probably a good first step.

I think I paid a couple hundred dollars and it was worth every single penny.

Has anyone added casters to existing library furniture ?
I would love to get flexible furniture, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, so I want to add casters to library tables to make it easier to move tables as needed

If you have done it, please let me know how, and what the best casters are.
