Hi Loretta,

My picture books, SNOWZILLA and WINTER CATS would fit the bill, both very fun read-alouds. SNOWZILLA has an underlying message of community cooperation, and WINTER CATS encourages inclusiveness while making friends.
I have related free activities and CCSS curriculum guides to go along that you can download off the books' pages on my website. (SNOWZILLA is my favorite for winter story times and I usually feature it during K-2 school visits.)

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to see if anyone has suggestions for winter themed picture books to be read at a B&N event that is taking place in December (no Santa or religious themes)?  Books that are not too lengthy and that may be entertaining or fun, ones with great messages, etc.  We have some volunteer 5th and 6th grade student readers for these chapter books.

Thanks ahead of time!

Respectfully,
