Happy New Year!
Episode 7 of the Joyful Learning Pod is out; "The Joy of Junk Journaling" with two special guests, West Hartford library media specialists, Shannon McNeice and Jill Daley. Here are the details:

An introduction to junk journaling, or "artful memory keeping" with two enthusiastic members of the creative and generous junk journaling community. Junk Journaling YouTuber, Jill Daley and Thrift Artist, Shannon McNeice (both librarians by day) share how this affordable and accessible style of scrapbooking/mixed media art promotes artistic self-expression while elevating the ordinary moments of everyday life.

In this podcast episode, Jill and Shannon offer great suggestions on how to adapt junk journaling for the classroom, library or makerspace. We also added links to Jill's active junk journaling youtube channel @jillybeanstudio and a link to cool project Shannon did using a Little Golden Book, also on youtube.
