What will be judging be like this year?
*Website and Paper Judges
will receive completed projects two weeks in advance of the contest. They will complete online evaluation forms prior to the contest. Judges must attend the contest to meet students and submit ranking forms.
*Performance, Exhibit, and Documentary Judges at the Regional Contests
will receive process papers and annotated bibliographies two weeks before the contest. Judges need to review these materials prior to the contest. At the contest, they will view the projects, review written materials (which may have highlighted changes
from those that were submitted) and meet students. Judges will complete printed
evaluation forms.
*At the State
Contest, we hope to have judges for all categories complete online evaluation forms, but a final decision about the feasibility of this plan will be made later in the spring.
*Judges must attend at least
one pre-contest training session. Judges need to arrive on contest day by 7:45 am. Most Regional Contest judges will finish between 2-3 pm. Breakfast and lunch provided.
We look forward to (finally!) seeing you in person!
