We use NoodleTools here. They do have a lite version which is free. The paid version allows students to create a project which houses all of the citations for their sources. The free version allows students to create a citation and then copy/paste it. Personally, I love using Noodletools with students as it shares what info is needed to cite, the students type in that info, and it does the formatting, exporting easily to a Google Doc or other doc.

Hi All,

When you have students cite sources other than databases, what sites do you use? Years ago I used Easybib, but moved to CiteFast when Easybib started using lots of pop-up ads. CiteFast has worked well, but uses MLA 8th edition instead of 9th. I work at a middle school, grades 5-8.

Thanks!
