All school librarians (you don't have to be a member of AASL) are invited to attend Addressing Challenges in America's School Libraries, a complimentary webinar series presented by the ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom and sponsored by AASL. Part one takes place Wednesday, February 22, at 6:00 p.m. Central. Part two takes place on March 22.

During the webinars, presenters will explore ways to advocate on local, state, and national levels; share where school librarians can seek help in navigating challenges; provide a review of minors' rights under the First Amendment; and present examples of how the courts have addressed challenges to materials in schools.
