Hi Laura -
I just used them yesterday with my grade 2s.

For our first time, we look at how to connect them and talk about what is happening.

Then I have small groups go to the bongos and/or classic piano and practice clipping wires to the various spots and then holding the ground to make it work. They are funny because the other kids not holding the ground always try and are surprised when it doesn't work.

I bring in a bunch of stuff for them to try: coins, tin foil, playdough, various foods and they start to see what will work and what won't.

Have fun!!!
Jenny

HI.  I ordered the makey makey kits from the CT Library and was wondering if anyone had lesson plans they could share.  I haven't used them before....

Thanks,
