Yes, we are facing book challenges in Brookfield High School. Several calls to remove:
  • This Book is Gay - an ebook in our catalog via the eGo program with the CT State Library
  • Fun Home
One call to remove
  • Me, and Earl, and the Dying Girl
Luckily, our reconsideration policy is recently revised and backed by ALA guidance. We will follow our existing policy.

I haven’t looked yet for a publicly available list of CT school districts currently facing challenges. If it doesn’t exist yet, it should. Transparency is important here.
