Dear Colleagues,

I am offering my op-ed that appeared in today's AZ Daily Star (Tucson newspaper): "Ignorance is not bliss" (5/2/23) as an example of how school librarians can promote the Right to Read Act of 2023.

tucson.com/opinion/local/...

In the print edition, the title was "Students will benefit from Right to Read Act of 2023."

I hope school librarians, advocates, and allies will publicize this important piece of legislation all across the country. Please join me in encouraging your Congressional delegation to sign on to this bill.

Sincerely,

Judi
