Our district (CTECS) is taking a wait and see approach. I hosted an afterschool workshop on ChatGPT for staff and had lively conversation with good number of attendees. Most of the questions evolved around the hope of an "all knowing" AI checker for teachers. This does not exist but ZeroGPT was suggested as a tool. Students are actively using it for essays. Good old fashion paper and pens were mentioned as one way to combat the in-class assignments.
