What if you could sit in your backyard while participating in an interactive and engaging anti-bias learning journey to help you create more inclusive schools next school year? What if you could be supported by your fellow educators from around the country? And what if you could get a certificate for 20 hours of Professional Development while doing it?
This summer, Anti-Defamation League Education, an AASL partner, invites you to connect with like-minded educators at their upcoming Breaking Down Bias: Championing Equitable and Inclusive Classrooms online course from Thurs, June 15 - Wednesday, July 19 (with a break for July 4th week). Registration closes Thursday, June 8.
By participating in the course, you will: • Reflect on the role identity and language play in perspective, bias, and belonging. • Develop strategies for recognizing and challenging bias in yourself, your school library, and your schools. • Receive a certificate of 20 professional learning hours upon successful completion of course assignments and a course evaluation.
Thanks to ADL's generous supporters, this self-paced online course is available at no cost to educators. It's delivered in an engaging format, provides a flexible schedule, offers
effective strategies and resources to use in your class and connects you with other educators. In fact, you are encouraged to sign up with your colleagues. Please make sure you can commit to the time requirements before you register and take a spot.
Please reach out with any questions to education@adl.org.
