I’ve done this on a very small scale for an isolated population of students. I have two sub-locations in our counseling office and nurses office.  The books are curated for students who may need nonfiction personal growth books or fiction books that have a main character dealing with a mental health issue.  I have content warnings on these books, as some students might be looking to connect with a character that has anxiety, but couldn’t handle a suicide or eating disorder.  It’s nothing formal, I have sticky notes with our library name and a list of content warnings on the inside of each book.

I’m interested to see what others are doing. My fear of labeling “all” books that might have a sensitive issue would be missing one and having a student rely solely on my content warning.  There are definitely ways to teach into this using subjects and the library catalog also.

Absolutely not. Movies don’t have this level of content ratings, and it’s much easier to close a book than to leave the theater.

This not only seems like a complete waste of a librarian’s time but also a great way to get your books challenged faster!

It sounds like this librarian is in Texas where it is now the law that book sellers assign content ratings to books. Certain content will then be banned from school libraries:

Maybe she is trying to get ahead of the law, but I don’t think we need to make the book banners’ jobs any easier for them.
