Dear Barbara,
Earlier this month, the Fund for Teachers (FFT) 2024 Fellowship grant application opened and we are reaching out for a couple of reasons:
You are eligible to apply again if you received your fellowship in or before 2019, and,
We encourage you to share the marketing resources below with your peers—teachers who could comprise the next cohort of FFT Fellows.
This year, we’re asking potential applicants to consider “What’s your Re-?” In other words, what could a Fund for Teachers grant help you accomplish?
Re-engage students in learning that centers them?
Re-charge from burnout?
Re-consider narratives you’ve taught?
Re-visit topics that once held your curiosity and could inspire your students?
Starting with this simple question of your colleagues, you can inspire their personal and professional re-naissance. (Okay, that one’s a stretch). We also ask you to share the link below to a trove of resources on our blog for new (and experienced!) applicants.
Thank you for being exemplars of what can happen when teachers are trusted as experts, and for helping us expand the ranks of FFT Fellows.
