I teach a .5 credit Media Literacy class. I teach in the library (only 1 period a semester) and the library is closed to other students during that period. It is listed as a social studies class.

Hello everyone!

Do any of you teach a media literacy and/or digital citizenship course for credit at the high school level?  If so, what department does it go under (Tech? Elective?) and as a librarian, how do you run the class?  Do you have someone cover the library while you teach? Do you close the library?
Thanks for any input!!
