I'm sure this is the old fashioned point of view, from a recently retired LMS, but I used print encyclopedias feeling that using alphabetical order is still valuable, and print is safe from computer/network malfunctions. I did not update them often however and used databases also.
I would love to hear about the reference section in your library! What does your elementary reference section look like? Do you have one at all? Just dictionaries and thesaurus? Special subject books for teacher use? Mine is a mess and I’m trying to decide what to do with it!
