Hello everyone,

I am looking for latin america themed fiction books for sixth graders to replace or add to the choice of reading Esperanza Rising (Pam Munoz).  Does anyone have any favorites/suggestions that would have similar themes and/or latin america cultural similarities?  Looking for something more modern or something that students can connect with.  Thanks so much in advance for any ideas.

Respectfully,
