Good afternoon everyone,
I’m seeking advice from the librarian hive mind regarding safety training in regards to running a maker space, Family and Consumer Science or Robotics class. I advise a sewing club and my school has asked another teacher to look into creating a robotics curriculum. We both want to make sure we are trained properly to protect students, ourselves and the school.
Thanks,
Dawn M. Zillich, librarian
St. Paul Catholic High School
"The old idea of the librarian as a sort of recluse closeted with his books and
interested only in them is the very antithesis of the modern librarian, who
must live with people equally with books, and who must also be keenly aware
of all that is going on in the world around him."
