Hi Michelle,

What about having them illustrate their favorite part of the book and explain why they liked it?  They can also design a cover for a particular genre and share why it is their favorite.  You can then display these in hopes of inspiring others to read those books.

What about using Flip (Flipgrid) to help show their responses and/or work to share out to everyone?

Respectfully,

Hello,
I just finished a genre unit with my 2nd graders and have to do a project with them where they identify what genre was their favorite and why, or what book they liked that was in that genre.
I'm feeling a bit fried. Does anyone have suggestions of what they could do? I'm thinking just handing them a worksheet to fill out might not be that exciting.
