Dear Connecticut Library Employers:

To improve Southern Connecticut State University's Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program, the faculty is requesting input from the Connecticut library community. As you consider the upcoming five years, what kinds of positions do you anticipate opening up in your library? Furthermore, what knowledge and skill sets do you believe will be essential for entry-level positions?

This survey should not take more than 10-15 minutes. Participation in this online survey is completely voluntary.  All survey answers will be anonymous.

If you would like to participate in this online survey, please use the link below.

The survey will be available to complete through May 25, 2024. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Hak Joon Kim at Kimh1@southernct.edu.

Thank you for dedicating your time to assist us in this significant endeavor. If you believe there is a more appropriate institutional contact to complete this questionnaire, please forward it accordingly.

Sincerely,

Hak Joon
