Good Morning CT Libraries, here’s what’s going on this week.
CLC HAPPENINGS
This afternoon we have our Strategic Planning Cohort Information Session.
Over the last year, Maureen Sullivan and I have taken 14 libraries through strategic planning in two cohorts. This will be our third cohort of libraries who work together concurrently to: create planning teams, engage with staff, board and community, analyze
collected data and write a strategic plan. One of the best outcomes of this cohort though isn’t just that you have a strategic plan but that you’ve also created a community of practice. If this sounds interesting to you and you can’t make the info session,
please feel free to reach out to me. Also, remember that the State Library and Dawn LaValle have some great free resources for strategic planning too.
Also today,
Set the Stage talking about count down to
kindergarten.
Thursday is the second meeting of the new
Association Library Roundtable.
Also the CLC Board of Trustees
meeting and finally the Storytelling Roundtable
in person at the Middletown Library Service Center.
Friday is the
Academic Library Roundtable for Reference, Research and Instruction.
