Subject: AASL - Global School Librarian Survey about AI Literacy & Professional Engagement with AI Tools
To: Corinne Hertel <chertelresearch@gmail.com>, Zakir Hossain <zakir.researchtl@gmail.com>

Dear School Library Colleagues

My name is Corinne Hertel and together with my colleague Zakir Hossain, we are again undertaking global research with school librarians, this time about AI (Artificial Intelligence) Literacy and Professional Engagement with AI Tools.

The reaction to our last research survey was overwhelmingly positive as we received responses from 569 librarians in 85 countries. Our paper entitled: "Academic integrity and copyright literacy policy and instruction in K-12 schools: a global study from the perspective of school library professionals" was published earlier this year in the International Journal for Educational Integrity.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete this survey and/or share it further with school librarians and your professional networks so that we can get a diverse response again. This is a meaningful opportunity for school librarians to share their experiences and help shape the future of AI in school libraries. All responses will be anonymous, confidential and secured.

We thank you in advance for your time and support!

Kind regards

Corinne Hertel & Zakir Hossain
