How would you rate your book repair skills?

If your answer is "needs improvement", we can help!

We're excited to welcome Demco's Book Doctor to the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library in Madison on Thursday, September 5 for hands-on training in book care and repair techniques.

(For those of you who don’t know, there is one Book Doctor and she travels the country doing these book repair workshops. We are really lucky to get her back to Connecticut for her third trip in 14 months!)

We’ll be offering two free workshops: A 1-hour workshop designed to teach you book repair basics, and a 3-hour workshop that teaches the basics and beyond.

While all supplies are included, please bring a pair of scissors.

Registration is open and is limited.

(And because I get this question every time we do a workshop, I’ll go ahead and tell you: We’re not sure if we’ll be able to bring the Book Doctor back to Connecticut in the next year. If you’ve been wanting to take this workshop, now is the time!
😊)
