Not sure if this is what you are looking for , but last year I started working with my K-2 students with book-based STEAM activities.
I use a lot from Carly and Adam at STEM Teacher's Club.  We read the book and then extend learning through hands-on making. I often carry it over to the
week, so book one week, activity the next.  There is a cost for STEM Teacher's Club but I haven't regretted purchasing a membership!

Hi all,

We are implementing play based learning in the library for K-2 students and I was wondering if anyone has started doing this or plans to do - looking for ideas, suggestions, routines that work in the library setting. I'd love to bounce some ideas off some other librarians so please reach out if you've done so or if you're planning on PBL this year :)

Thanks!
Kirsten
