This is awesome. I'd love to advocate for this in the future. I've done it in the past with "centers" and have students rotate to different stations. I used an old overhead projector as a light table (this was a big hit). I just got some transparent multi-colored tiles and the kids loved it. Legos, magnets, really anything they can build with. I did that approach to make a bridge between PBL and makerspaces.

Hi all,

We are implementing play based learning in the library for K-2 students and I was wondering if anyone has started doing this or plans to do - looking for ideas, suggestions, routines that work in the library setting. I'd love to bounce some ideas off some other librarians so please reach out if you've done so or if you're planning on PBL this year :)

Thanks!
Kirsten
