Authors Leslie Connor and Kyle Lukoff will talk about their books, using Nutmeg and Newbery award-winning books in the classroom, and they will sign copies of their featured titles. Educators in grades K-12 are invited. Attendees receive a 20% off coupon for purchases that evening!
  
Leslie Connor is the author of several award-winning books for children, including two ALA Schneider Family Book Award winners, Waiting for Normal and The Truth as Told by Mason Buttle, which was also selected as a National Book Award finalist. Her other books include All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. CookCrunch, and The Things You Kiss Goodbye
Kyle Lukoff is the author of many books for young readers. His debut middle-grade novel, Too Bright To See, received a Newbery honor, the Stonewall award, and was a National Book Award finalist. His picture book When Aidan Became a Brother also won the Stonewall. He has forthcoming books about mermaids, babies, apologies, and lots of other topics. He worked as a bookseller for ten years, and then nine years as a school librarian.
