🤖  Calling All Maker Educators  🤖

We are thrilled to announce the return of our annual Infy Makers Awards. This year's theme, "Making A Difference" aims to identify and celebrate projects that empower students to become creative and collaborative problem-solvers. We're looking for educators who are inspiring their students to tackle real-world challenges, both in their local communities and on a global scale.

Ten winning educators will receive a $10,000 grant and the opportunity to participate in the Making CS Inclusive Cohort, a professional learning experience facilitated by Digital Promise from January to August 2025. The grant is flexible and can be used for materials, projects, research, community engagement and more.

Who can apply?

The Infy Makers Awards are open to:

  • K-12 schools
  • Universities
  • Community colleges
  • Makerspaces
  • Youth-serving organizations and institutions

All organizations must be based in the United States and be operated as a non-profit organization to be eligible.

What is the timeline?

The contest begins on September 24, 2024 and ends at 5:00 pm PT on November 7th, 2024.

How do I apply?

Eligible candidates will provide:

  • A video (no longer than 90 seconds) illustrating how you would use the Infy Makers Awards and identify the impact it will have
  • A detailed description and budget describing how you would use the award to engage students in computer science or maker education
  • One support letter from a leader within your organization or affiliated school district
