I just had a middle school (6-8) Scholastic Book Fair and it was a huge success!  I felt they had ample middle school titles and YA options. They also sent the right amount of toys, and a new register that works by cell phone connection.  I called in my restocks on Tuesday and they were there by Thursday last period.  We had a case fair, not a table top one, because we made over a certain amount last spring.  We timed it during parent conference week and I had two parent volunteers to help.  I guess I'm just throwing in my two cents for a balanced point of view.  I'm also interested in having River Bend or R J Julia do a book fair at my high school. If anyone has done a high school book fair with any success, I'd be interested to hear about it!  I was thinking of December so students can purchase gifts.
