Hi All!

We were Discover Books users here at Simsbury HS until they stopped service and referred us to Bay State Books.

We used their service for the first time this month and it went just as smoothly as it previously did with Discover Books (driver arrived on time, books can be kept on carts until loaded into their bins for removal).

They claim to have a 700 book minimum for pickup. Below is the automated message I got from Discover Books last spring:

Thank you for contacting Discover Books.

As of March 15, 2024 Discover Books stopped doing pickups of books.

Our Bin network has been transfered to Bay State Books, who will provide service from this point on.

Bay State Books also welcomes the opertunity to service anyone who wishes to schedule book pickups.

Bay State Books can be contacted at,

617-203-1797 or libraries@baystatebooks.com

Subject: [CASL-L] IMPORTANT: Book Contract Updates

Good Morning –

If you are a CLC member AND you’ve indicated that you would like to receive email information about discounts, you received an email about updates to the book contract earlier this morning.  Subject heading:  IMPORTANT:  CLC Book Contract Updates.  Please take a moment to review it especially if you order from Baker & Taylor, Ingram or Follett.

If you did not receive the email and would like to receive future emails about discounts, please login to your account on our website, go to ‘manage profile’ on the top menu bar and adjust your email amount preferences:

In the email, you’ll see that we direct you to the individual vendor pages on our website for specific information about discount percentages.  Your username is your email and there is a reset password button if you can’t remember your password.

If you’ve never had an account on our site, you can sign up for one here:  https://www.ctlibrarians.org/page/connect.

Happy to help, reach out to me or Julie with any questions.

Ellen
