The Save School Librarians page has over 600 people who sent letters. That is amazing! Let’s keep sharing it and get to 1000+! Hopefully this bill gets to a point where it will be voted on by all members. We do need to continue to let them know they should support it. If you haven’t done this yet, PLEASE sign this letter now.Â

What can you do NOW to help support SB1271?
Submit written testimony by the end of day Friday if possible. Here’s how:

We are encouraging supporters of SB 1271 to send written testimony. It is best to send written testimony by 3pm on 2/12/25 if possible.
Submit your written testimony here. Remember to:
Select "2/13/2025 3:00 PM" from the "Hearing Date and Time" dropdown.
Select "SB01271 - AAC SCHOOL AND PUBLIC LIBRARIES" from the "Bill Number(s)" box.
Include your first and last name, as well as any other pertinent information (e.g. title and org/agency) (You can be anonymous. You do not have to put your title or organization in).Â
Be sure to choose in SUPPORT
Proofread your testimony, then upload your file and submit!
