Dear Jenny,

On behalf of the Expanding Computing Education Pathways (ECEP) Connecticut team, I am writing to request [Organization Name]'s participation in a pivotal initiative to shape the future of computer science education in Connecticut. Through recent grant funding, we are assembling key education stakeholders to revitalize Connecticut's Computer Science Plan, and your organization's voice and expertise are essential to this effort.

We request that you appoint  a representative from CASL to participate in our upcoming CS Leaders Convening:

Date: Thursday, May 1, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Location: 165 Capitol Ave, Hartford, CT

The primary objectives of this convening are to:

  • Develop a comprehensive vision statement for CS education in Connecticut
  • Establish measurable short and long-term goals

Your organization's participation is crucial as we work to ensure that our strategic planning reflects the diverse needs and perspectives of Connecticut's education community. Following the initial convening, working groups will be formed to develop specific implementation strategies, and we anticipate hosting annual reconvening sessions to assess progress toward our established goals.
