Code.org Scholarship Opportunities
To support school districts PL fees are being waived by Code.org for summer PL. Sacred Heart University (SHU) Connecticut's Code.org Regional Partner is happy to announce its Summer Professional Learning to be held June 23-27, 2025, using a hybrid model. Please see the attached flyer.
SHU will be offering CS Principals or CSA for teachers with students taking AP exams and CS Discoveries for middle school teachers. AI/ML will be included in all offerings as it is rapidly changing the CS landscape.
New to the lineup this year is
CS & AI Foundations (CSAIF). The new CSAIF curriculum uses AI as a focal point in CS topics which include AI as an Assistant, AI Limitations, Bias and Hallucinations, AI for Creativity, AI in Decision-Making in addition to traditional CS learning.
In support of funding uncertainties Pl fees are being waived to districts. As always, Code.org curriculum is open source.
