Good afternoon,

I am retiring in June after 34 years in education and 32 teaching in CT,  first as an English teacher and the latter part of my career as a Library Media Specialist. It’s been a great run! But I’m ready to scale back- and also eager to turn this position and library that I have loved for the last 18 years over to someone with energy, passion, and great vision for the future. 

It is a 7-8 middle school with a good budget and an assistant. There are many staff who love to collaborate with library staff on research projects or for reader’s advisory or other programs. The high school librarian Nella is a gem- and the Wethersfield Library is next door to the school and the teen librarian there is fantastic to collaborate with as well.
