We recently upgraded to the ARL 2700, and it's a great machine.  USI is a local company (Madison), and they are incredibly efficient and helpful.  Further, we avoid the steep shipping fees on the laminating film since we're able to pick it up from them.  Keep that in mind if you have any colleagues who live in the area.  Our last USI laminator lasted for decades, so we're hopeful this one will last as well.

I’m really happy with the CSL 2700.

It works well, and it’s much easier to load than the 50 year-old (literally) nightmare laminator it replaced.

Office staff is great, and the laminating film is cheaper than Demco.

Hi all,

 

I'm bringing up the age old question of what laminator you recommend. I am pretty familiar with the GBC machines, but I am curious if anyone has experience with any of the other brands sold by USI including the ARL (looks like their own brand) and MiniKote laminators. I was looking at the USI ARL 2700 27" Digital Thermal Roll Laminator as one option. You can see all the laminators below.

 


 

I have previously heard good feedback about USI, but wanted to ask for any specifics since they have a CLC contract.
