The ARL looks like it’s very similar to the CSL 2700 model, which is what I have. I think the main difference is the ARL has a digital temp readout and a lock feature and the CSL doesn’t.

I’m really happy with the CSL 2700.

It works well, and it’s much easier to load than the 50 year-old (literally) nightmare laminator it replaced.

Office staff is great, and the laminating film is cheaper than Demco.

Subject: [CASL-L] laminator recommendations

Hi all,

I'm bringing up the age old question of what laminator you recommend. I am pretty familiar with the GBC machines, but I am curious if anyone has experience with any of the other brands sold by USI including the ARL (looks like their own brand) and MiniKote laminators. I was looking at the USI ARL 2700 27" Digital Thermal Roll Laminator as one option. You can see all the laminators below.

I have previously heard good feedback about USI, but wanted to ask for any specifics since they have a CLC contract.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Sarah
