One of our special education teachers sent me this request. Just passing it along in case any of you have any recommendations. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
I am teaching American Literature and want to focus on not the typical reads. I want to split the semester up into 2 sections: Native American Literature and African American Literature. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for short stories or books
that fall under these topics that would be between a 2nd and 4th grade reading level.
