One of my favorite books in recent years, that SORT OF addresses the issue of difficult conversations with leadership, is "Creativity, Inc.." by Ed Catmull.  It's about the rise of Pixar. where apparently, at least in the early days, a custodian could have a great idea for a movie and would be encouraged by the company to run with it.  The tough conversations part is in the last third of the book:  the merger with Disney, which had/has a very different midnset about such unfettered creativity.  Just a suggestion.

We are looking for a book - for our faculty - that handles the topic of having difficult conversations.  We are not really looking for those centered around race or diversity - but more about the dynamics of difficult conversations related to change, the admin to teacher dynamic, and being able to have open conversations, no matter your role or status.  It can be centered around education or not.
