Level Up Your Library: A Power-Packed Day for School Librarians

ELECTION DAY - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 4, 2025 - a full day of learning, connection, and inspiration designed just for school librarians.

We’re offering three dynamic sessions designed to elevate your school library’s role in teaching, learning, and policy leadership:

Collaborate & Connect: Leading Through Peer Engagement
School librarians are instructional leaders. This session will foster professional dialogue and collaboration, helping librarians share proven strategies, build cross-district networks, and lead initiatives that improve literacy and learning outcomes.

AI Prompt Engineering for School Librarians: Innovating Instruction & Operations
Librarians are tech integrators and curriculum partners. This session will equip school librarians with AI skills to enhance lesson design, personalize student learning, and streamline library workflows—freeing up time for deeper instructional support and student engagement.

Understanding Connecticut’s New Freedom to Read Law: Policy Leadership in Action
Librarians are policy advocates. This session will empower school librarians to lead efforts in crafting and implementing policies that protect intellectual freedom, promote inclusive collections, and ensure compliance with new state legislation, creating safe, enriching environments for all students.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• If your school/district is a CLC member, you need to LOG IN before registering to get the member rate.
• If you are not sure if your school/district is a member, search HERE
• You will be able to register multiple attendees if you wish.
• Please note any dietary restrictions on the registration form.

Price & Payment:

• $40 CLC members, $70 non-members (includes lunch)
• You may pay online with a credit card during registration or follow up with a check or EFT.
• If you need a purchase order, consider registering now and noting that on the registration form.
• Payment is due Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
