Hello Connecticut Computer Science Teachers!
We have a few exciting updates and opportunities from CSTA we wanted to share with you. It's a busy and wonderful time to be a part of the computer science education community!
1. CSTA Connecticut Chapter Meeting: Getting to Know You Get ready to kick off the new school year with the first chapter meeting of the CSTA Connecticut chapter! Join us on Google Meet for a "Getting to Know You" event where we'll share plans for the year, review last year's member survey, discuss national updates, and talk about mentorship opportunities. Your voice is a vital part of making this chapter a success.
2. CSTA Connecticut Event: Exploring CS & Maker Spaces Join us for an exciting evening at CoCreate in Stamford as we explore the intersection between computer science and maker spaces. This event will give educators the chance to discover how hands-on, collaborative environments can enrich computer science education and foster deeper student engagement.
3. Share Your Expertise! Present at the CSTA New England Conference Finally, a reminder that the CSTA New England conference is built by and for teachers like you! Your voice and experience are what make this event so valuable. Have a great lesson, project, or strategy to share? We encourage you to submit a proposal to present.
Thank you for your dedication to computer science education. We hope to see you at these events and pleases share with your colleagues.
