Make PBL the Main Course of Your Educational Diet! Join us for a Learning Adventures Workshop just outside of Boston on November 1, 2025 Projects need not be the quick sugary treat offered to students after their real work is done. Project-based learning can be the focus of any creative teacher’s classroom. In our new workshop, Learning Adventures are offered as an approach to creating rich, engaging, interdisciplinary projects with which students not only engage with traditional curricular expectations, but exceed them. Spend a hands-on day reframing PBL as Learning Adventures—an approach that elevates project-based learning with modern tools, computation, and pedagogy. Based on decades of experience in classrooms around the world and the Constructing Modern Knowledge institutes for educators, the Learning Adventures approach helps educators identify dynamic project provocations, prepare the learning environment, embrace serendipity, and celebrate student ingenuity. The day-long Learning Adventures workshop is suitable for teachers and administrators of any grade level or subject. Led by Dr. Gary Stager, co-author of Invent to Learn and internationally recognized pioneer in project-based learning, the maker movement, and 1:1 computing, this workshop offers hands-on insights for educators to transform PBL into a tasty staple of any educational diet. Since this workshop is on a Saturday, everyone should be able to attend! Bring a team of colleagues and share the excitement! We are thrilled to be hosted by The Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning and Creativity in Dedham, Massachusetts (near Boston). Peter Reynolds, author and illustrator of such well-loved classics as "The Dot," has been a cherished friend and collaborator for more than 35 years. You may recognize his unique style in our Learning Adventures logo! Fun fact: His twin brother, Paul, was once Gary’s graduate student.
