Are you unfamiliar with the Nutmeg Book Award? Check out Melissa Thom and Grace Lin’s new podcast, The Bookish State, which focuses on state book awards. This year is entirely focused on Nutmeg! Listen to Episode 1 for an overview of the Nutmeg Book Award. And, finally, can you think of a student currently in grades 6-11 who is an avid reader of a wide variety of books and not afraid to express their opinion? Share Episode 4 with them to hear from a former Nutmeg student reader to gain a little insight into this experience!

Are you or your library doing something extra special to highlight the Nutmeg Book Awards?  We want to hear about it!  Send your highlight to the Nutmeg Book Award Steering Committee at nutmegbookaward1993@gmail.com to be featured in our next newsletter.

Did you create a Nutmeg resource you would be willing to share? Send it to Sara Bartelmo, Nutmeg Webmaster, at nutmegwebmaster@gmail.com

You may direct any Nutmeg related questions to our current Steering Committee Co-Chairs:
