Recording Ready | End Hunger CT: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

If you missed our conversation with Meg Hadley Zimmerman of EndHungerCT the recording is now available.

As information about SNAP changes, Meg has provided access to a Google Folder that she will update in real time. The folder also provides access to flyers, a SNAP prescreener, and other local resources. The information in the Google Folder is a living document so please check back for updates.

Join End Hunger Connecticut! for an informative session on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). We’ll cover the basics of SNAP, recent and upcoming changes to the program—including the impacts of the federal government shutdown and H.R.1—and what these mean for Connecticut residents. This session will cover FAQs, key messaging to share with the public, advocacy opportunities, food security resources, and practical ways libraries can support both SNAP households and other CT families during this critical time.
