Hi Matt,
I just requested a sample Wonderbook.  They sent me Slugfest by Gordon Korman.  The Wonderbook is a regular hardcover book with an audio feature attached to it.  I read it, and a student is using it now.  I'm eager to see what she thinks.  The speed, which could not be regulated, was slow for me but will probably be just right for struggling readers.  It's just one more option for our kids.  :)

Hi everyone:

My goal this year is targeting reluctant readers.  I have a growing collection of Orca hi-lo books, but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas.

Thanks,
Matt

Dr. Mortimer looked strangely at us for an instant, and his voice sank almost to a whisper as he answered.

“Mr. Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound!”
