Dear Community,

Books can be a crucial sanctuary-a place of refuge, safety, and healing.

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from a retired school librarian (!!)...

I'm Your Neighbor Books is offering Sanctuary Stories
-free and privacy-protected books packages for students/families impacted by ICE.

Each Sanctuary Stories book package contains:

1) A book(s) about a family negotiating the impact of ICE (like Efrén Divided or I Wish You Knew, in Spanish or English)

2) A culturally-aligned book(s) that is steeped in the joy of community connection.

How does it work?

1) Librarians, teachers, or neighbors can request Sanctuary Stories from I'm Your Neighbor Books for a family they would like to support. The info requested does not include the family's name or location.

2) I'm Your Neighbor Books curates and ships a box to the librarian, teacher, or neighbor.

3) Librarian, teacher, or neighbor delivers to the student or family.

Learn more and share.
