Governor's Summer Reading Challenge
The CT State Library has assumed development and implementation of the Governor's Summer Reading Challenge and are contemplating changes.
Traditionally the GSRC has been a competition amongst schools and the schools with the highest ratio of readers to books read were invited to an event with the Governor in Hartford.
As we move into the Summer of 2026 the CT State Library would like your thoughts on reimagining the program. A 9 question survey has been created to allow you to share your thoughts on the traditional format of the challenge and some potential changes.
This survey will close on Friday, February 13th and we appreciate your time.
