The CT Southern New England Rosen Publishing Awards Committee is pleased to announce that Christine Rosa of Plumb Hill Middle School has been selected as the CT Southern New England Rosen Publishing School Librarian of the Month, January 2026.
Christine’s collaborative program, Makerspace Fridays with Oliver Wolcott Public Library, will become part of SNE’s bank of best practices to be shared with educators across the state. She will also be recognized at the 2026 CASL Conference.
The Southern New England Rosen Publishing School Librarian of the Month Award recognizes certified Connecticut Association of School Librarians (CASL) members who have developed a powerful lesson, program or collaboration that empowers student learning and showcases what is happening in school libraries/media centers across our state. Christine will have the opportunity to select and receive a free set of books from Rosen Publishing for the school library.
Established in 1950, the Rosen Publishing Group offers engaging print and digital books on a wide range of topics that are aligned with the curriculum. Rosen is also known for databases and interactive e-books.
