Session 2: How to Light a Fire Under Our 

Students to Become Avid Readers and Writers 

on May 12, 2026 at 7pm ET

Curriculum and Research Specialist

In this session, learn how to motivate your students to become avid readers and writers by fostering curiosity, aesthetic involvement, and identity and confidence through virtual author talks. Attendees will leave the session with materials to bring back to their libraries and classrooms.

Whether you’re looking to refine your leadership approach or find new ways to engage your students, this event will provide the "fuel" you need for your school’s next step.
